Nuss Procedure for Pectus Excavatum

This is known as the minimally invasive procedure, which has become quite popular in recent times. An incision is made on each side of the chest wall. A bar is bent into the required shape of this wall. Then, a large surgical clamp is passed through one side of the chest, under the sternum and out the other side.
