Hi there. I am a 40 year old female with pectus excavatum. I have only just recently looked into information regarding this deformity. I am wondering if anyone with the same has also had issues with hip, knee, flat feet or other joints of the body. I have had problems with these since childhood but never any defined diagnosis as to why. In researching pectus excavatum I have found that it can be cause by connective tissue disorders and I want to know if these other parts of the body can be affected because of it. I discovered that sydromes such as EDS or Marfan’s can cause Pectus Excavatum but I don’t believe I have these syndromes.
Thanks.
